It's the period of the long vacation for the 2016/17 academic session.
The school, under the auspices of the Lagos State Ministry of Education, has commenced the Holiday Coaching for the Science Students.
The coaching is a way of brushing the students up and get them ready for their next classes.
Today the school has added another feather to its cap as one of our dearest colleagues, Mr. Itaman, is being awarded the Lagos State Government long service Award this day.
Early evening yesterday Mr. Itaman, unusually, called me to deliver this impressive and joyful news.
We are very grateful to God Almighty for this. Nothing is as good as your employers finding you worthy of an honour.
Not everybody has worked to this stage in their career, that is why we are rejoicing with Baba Itaman today.
Sir, we very much share in your joy and happiness today. We are also praying for good health and abundant wealth for you as you are approaching the end of a beautiful and highly rewarding career.
You have had the privilege of training so many future leaders of this great nation.
Your father in Heaven will continue to bless you and your entire family ceaselessly.
