The Contractor Is Back To Site

After a break of some months the contactor handling the rehabilitation work on the school's buildings is back to the compound.

The initial impression they gave us was that the work would last just about 10 weeks. This news made us happy because that would have meant a little discomfort.

However, our teachers and students have been made to go through too much uncomfortable circumstances, including the sharing of a classroom in the Junior school building.

Some of our teachers have been occupying the corridor of the Nigerian Breweries building, while some others have been sharing the laboratories with the Science teachers. Three other teachers are using the library as their temporary staff room. So much discomfort

We hope the return of the contractor would bring a big relief to the students and the staff of the school.

The School's Library Needs More Books, Magazines, Journals And CDs

We are happy to say that, unlike some other public schools our school is blessed with a library which the students constantly use to improve themselves.

However, the volumes of available materials fall short of what is expected of a secondary school library in the 21st century.

We would appreciate it if corporate organisations, NGOs, Religious bodies, Philanthropists and the old students (collectively and individually) could donate some materials to our library.
